EGM Maduro Rios introduces an American-grown Broadleaf wrapper to the EGM blend for the first time, moving beyond the tradition of Puros Dominicanos. Dark in appearance and naturally oily, this exceptional Maduro wrapper brings a distinctive sweetness, depth and richness — perfectly suited to the classic 6-inch corona format, where the blend's complexity unfolds at an unhurried pace.

Filler and binder leaves are grown in the fertile Cibao Valley, the Dominican Republic's most prestigious tobacco region. Each cigar is crafted entirely by hand — totalmente a mano — in Santo Domingo.

EGM Maduro Rios delivers a darker, richer, and more complex profile than the classic Dominican EGM puros, driven primarily by its Pennsylvania Broadleaf maduro wrapper. This wrapper introduces natural sweetness, cocoa, espresso, earth, and pepper, layered over the clean Dominican core from the Cibao Valley.   On the flavour side: Dark chocolate & cocoa — consistently highlighted across reviews and retailer descriptions; the Broadleaf wrapper is known for producing these deeper, dessert-like notes. Espresso & roasted coffee — a defining characteristic of Pennsylvania Broadleaf; several sources mention espresso-like depth and roasted coffee bean richness. Earthiness — a grounding note typical of Dominican fillers, enhanced by the maduro fermentation.
